Google is advising anyone who uses the Chrome browser to make sure their browsers have the latest update, which patches a “high” risk security flaw that hackers are already exploiting on unsuspecting victims.
Google Chrome Security and Desktop Engineering Lead Justin Schuh said users should install the latest version of the browser—72.0.3626.121—right away.
"Seriously, update your Chrome installs... like right this minute," he wrote
This flaw allows web applications access to your machine including files and passwords.
If you have Google Chrome installed on your machine UPDATE IT NOW
To do this open Chrome and go to the 3 dots in the top right corner and go to Help then About Google Chrome (See the image above).
You should be on Version 72.0.3626.121, if not please run the update.
