DO THIS FIRST

Notify your IT they will attempt their troubleshooting steps
Refer to your disaster recovery plan of the process to follow and who needs to be notified and how they should be notified.
Remember to communicate to all employees of the situation and remind them to work locally until otherwise notified.
Locate your data backups and have them ready to be restored.

RECOVERY

Before starting these steps, determine exactly what data is located where. Refer to the disaster recovery plan for what needs to be recovered and from which location to which server.

If possible setup a loaner/temporary server based off of the backups from the old server, or spin up your virtual backup server. This gives you time to get your production server operational without impacting productivity.
Recover the operating system from its backup to your temporary server, or re-build based off of the documentation. If the data is part of a database that can not be partially restored you may have to take that software offline until such time as the data is recovered.
Restore the data/databases/virtual machines back to the temporary server.
Spin up the temporary server on a different network and test all server functions.
